  • You may need to decide if you want to rent or buy a home depending on the amount of work your employer will do for you.

  • While you are living abroad, find out the tax requirements for the UK.
  • You must also understand and comply with the tax laws of your new country.
  • What are your plans for the property you currently own in the UK? Renting a home is much easier. You may need to sell your home if you plan on relocating permanently.
  • You will need to take care of your family pets while you are away or inquire about how you can move them with you.
